NAVA Minutes – March 19,
2010
Board Members Present:
Mark, Janice, Preston Cohen, Steve Case, Mike Corti, Bob and Lori DeVoe, Paul
Corey, Lori and Doug Schnerr, Sue and Bob French.
Treasurer's and Secretary's reports were read and accepted.
It was stated that there is a booklet available from Nava, which tells you how
to run a ski trip. Anyone can do it, and we need more new ideas.
Maybe a trip where skiers and cross-country skiers can both be involved.
Inside Activities- Preston had his raffle give away prizes. Mark Cohen
won the 5-day trip for two to Sugarloaf in March of 2011. Bob and Sue
French won a bus trip for two including lift tickets. Walter and Carol
won the $100 gift certificate to Suburban Sports in Berlin. Tom Gertsch
won free membership for one year. Congratulations to all winners!!!!
Sue French said that VIP tickets need to be back to her by May 1st for possible
credit.
Bob DeVoe gave the CSC copies of our membership. The proposed amendments
to our by-laws were read, voted on and approved.
Art would like to purchase equipment for Nava costing $139.00. The club
approved this purchase. Paula won the fifty fifty.
